The Liv Sessions brings together educators, specialists and creative professionals to share knowledge, offer something different and create meaningful experiences here in Cornwall.

From professional hair and beauty education to business coaching, scalp and hair health, wellbeing, bridal preparation, visiting specialists and content creation . The Liv Sessions is about bringing expertise into an intimate, welcoming environment.

Some sessions will be hosted and curated by The Liv Bridal Hair Studio, while the space is also available to carefully selected professionals looking to bring their own education, service or experience to Cornwall.

Why I Created The Liv Sessions

Having lived in Cornwall for most of my life, I've often found myself travelling further afield to access the education and experiences I wanted to develop my skills.

Throughout my career, I've travelled to London and beyond to learn from experienced educators, perfect my techniques and continue pushing myself to be better at what I do.

I've attended some great education here in Cornwall too, but I often wished there were more opportunities to learn from a wider variety of professionals people who have travelled, worked with challenging and diverse clients, worked as session stylists, built successful careers or developed specialist expertise within their field.

Since having children, I've realised just how difficult travelling for education can be. It can mean additional travel, accommodation, time away and trying to fit everything around family life.

That's a big part of why I created The Liv Sessions.

I want to help bring more of those opportunities to Cornwall.

And education isn't only about perfecting your practical skills.

As a self-employed stylist and salon owner, I've learnt how important business, marketing, confidence and building a sustainable career can be too. I'd love to welcome experienced business coaches and industry professionals who can share that knowledge with other self-employed creatives.

I'm also passionate about educating my clients. There are areas outside of my own expertise where I'd love to give them access to professionals who really know their field.

The Liv Sessions is my way of creating the kind of space I wish I'd had access to throughout my own career.

The Space

Based within The Liv Bridal Hair Studio in Redruth, Cornwall, The Liv Sessions offers a calm, beautifully presented, fully working salon environment.

The space includes:

  • Two professional styling stations

  • Backwash facilities

  • Mirrors and salon workspace

  • Professional lighting

  • Tripod and handheld content lighting

  • Refreshment area

  • Wi-Fi

  • Toilet facilities

  • Two allocated parking spaces

  • An intimate setting ideal for smaller groups

I'll be available to welcome you, help you settle into the space and make sure you have what you need before giving you the space to run your session.

Hourly hire — from £40
Minimum 3-hour booking.

Half day — from £150

Full day — from £250

All bookings are subject to suitability for the studio. Visiting professionals are responsible for holding any relevant qualifications, licences and insurance required for the services they provide.
